This afternoon, I was very fortunate to be given the opportunity to take a website building course. I surprised myself by going as I never had any interest before, as my training is more creative.

Did I enjoy it? Very much in fact for some strange reason , I felt liberated and on top of the world. The space was a workshop, and the tutor reminded me of "Neil " from that retro sitcom comedy The Young Ones. Let me tell you just how amazing they were! In in two hours I created a web page for a European Partnership Women's Network, so of course I will be going back next Friday, mop in hand and cleaning materials to learn the final part of the modules.

If I can create a method for visual communication in two hours, just think of the possibilities, what We can do through this website for a global community of such Amazing special and talented women.

I am now getting ready to have an early night with World Press stories.

Welcome to World Pulse. If you are just beginning to discover the power of web networks, you have come to the right place. There are many Kenyan women on the site who you will enjoy connecting with. Please continue to post as your web course goes on. I love the graphic you posted. Is that your own art work?

Greetings

Thank you for your response. I must let you know that even though my chosen name is kenyasue , I was actually born in South Wales, in a small sea coastal village called Barry Island, in the United kingdom

My parents are what we define as Caribbean born Afrikans they ascended from Jamaica. The graphics were given to me for the community group based in the UK called ileto (compound/foundation) Caribbean people's Network which I am really happy to tell you, I founded in 2000.

The network is made up of mainly Caribbean women, the uniqueness of this collective is that the users become the members. We are all volunteers, sustain ourselves as grass roots activists and receive no government funding. I also have skpe; sista. kenya and a facebook; kenyasue smart

Pleased to have connected with you. So , how about you whose shoulders do you rise from?

Love and many blessings
