Why am the best candidate for VOF 2013 future applicants

On my right inner ankle you will find ‘life’ tattooed in Chinese Characters.
I love everything about life and it is no surprise I found my calling in rights advocacy especially minority rights. Am specifically touched with the plight of children , and women plus violation of their rights ,and sexual minorities as I believe they are the most marginalized in my community. I believe my personal change can impact a community and hence the world over.

My personal vision for my life is to just be happy, and things that make me happy are making sure everyone has the same opportunities. That some people are not left to feel less human simply because they have had less ‘luck’ in life. I love to vie for women empowerment and equality, make sure children’s voices are heard ,When adults are making decisions that affect children, children have the right to say what they think should happen and have their opinions taken into account, which they seldom are .I would also love to push for change in policies like equality for LGBTS . [Lesbian,Gay, Bisexual and Transgenders].

Article 36 of the Constitution of Uganda states that '' Minorities have a right to participate in the decision making process and their views and interests shall be taken into account in the making of national plans and programes'' Gross human rights abuses have been suffered by the lesbian, Gay bisexual and transgender people in Uganda. LGBT people should be included among the people who should enjoy minority rights as laid down in the Uganda Constitution which is the supreme law.. My passion stems from love, I have seen close people to me deeply affected by the existing policies which I cannot directly change.
My core most values are freedom, justice , respect and family.

Active advocacy is my passion now , my hope someday is to set up a minority rights company and push for such policies, such that they can pass.
I would love to be a Voices of our future correspondent because it will put me in a place where I can speak out on defects in rights for children , women and sexual minorities. I believe this is a forum to be heard and make change and that women are extremely crucial in this process. This training program in citizen journalism and digital empowerment will set me not only at my community , but I will achieve world change activism , being heard is something i don't take for granted, it fits well in my vision for active rights advocacy for minority groups.
Being a Voice Of the Future correspondent will put me at the world Center stage, being on world pulse is something I had never thought would happen to me, to be able to report on a story and change policies will be such a climax for me .
