VOF WEEK 1: INTRODUCTION TO WEB 2.0 AND CITIZEN JOURNALISM

-What excites me most in Web 2.0 is that, i can create information, stories and share it globally on the Internet. Moreover, a Community can assist each other create and share together around the information.

-The Solutions that i think about the Web 2.0 brings to the Global Women is hope. Hope that will not delay, not like the hope that is of the saying that goes, We live on hope. Hope that will make stress to many Women be a thing of the past. Web 2.0 solutions will cater for the Women Basic needs . If those who are conversant with the Internet voice their needs out on Web 2.0 and Citizen Journalism.
Global Women empowerment Movement will empower Groups in their daily to day affairs, providing Resources to them through Web 2.0 to the needy Community Women groups.

• The Web 2.0 is empowering for me in that I will be able to create information and stories and share it globally on the Internet and be able to interact, create together around the information representing our Women Groups and Women Community at large by educating, giving them information required by Web 2.0 order for them to benefit. The Web 2.0 has given me hope if i follow their requirements I will travel in the year 2010 and that will empower me and our Community because i will learn more and thy will benefit both financially and lean and we will all be educated .
