Two lives , not numbers involved

I am back in Lagos after the four-day World Safety Conference in London(self-paid).
Exactly six hours after my arrival in Nigeria, one of my former worker called to report a case of a househelp or housekeeper who is pregnant .
Being pregnant is no special news you may think, but this class of vulnerable persons are always victims of men who promise heaven but release hell. They approach these housegirls and promise to get them out of \"such demeaning jobs\" and for a young girl or woman desiring better lives, they willingly surrender themselves to have sex with their potential benefactors.
The man reponsible for the pregnancy has denied and the madam of the house or the empolyer has gotten to know, the housegirl has not only lost her job but has also lost her free accomodation in the madam's apartment.
Also intresting is the fact that she dread going back to the village to meet her poor parents, who wouldn't have allowed her do such a job but for their poor background.

The intervention now becomes necessary and important because the madam needs her to raise #20,000 to add to an already raised #27,000 to complete the fee needed for an abortion or a D&C , possibly by a quack medical practioner that may kill her.The pregnancy is four months old.

We have scheduled an intervention session with the madam or employer and the victim. We may need to send her back to the village with enough money to support the unborn baby and the mother,I think with enough fund she may get her family's support and care that are needed.

Alternatively, we shall provide a transitional home and support for them.
Or what do you think?
