Hi every one. You can call me Ulin (spell "U" like in July, and "lin" like in bee -> oo - leen). I live in Semarang - Indonesia. I'm a translator, a teacher, and a radio journalist.

In my opinion, a woman is a very strong creature. But God is very good and kind, He create us in tender hearth, armor us with tears, to balance all the strength we have as he create us to rule the world in a very wise way.

Dear Ulin,

Thank you for joining World Pulse and welcome to you! Now you're part of a passionate community of women and men from more than 190 countries around the world who come together here to listen to each other's stories, support and encourage one another, and help find solutions to some of the problems we face. It's great to have you here and to have your service as a Community Listener. Listening is such incredibly important work and I'm grateful that you have taken this responsibility on. I hope that you are inspired by your work with World Pulse.

I see that you are passionate about poetry and writing. I am very inspired by poetry as well, and especially enjoy poems by Hafiz and Rumi. Who are your favorite poets? Have you lived in Indonesia all your life? Did you learn English there? (You don't need to answer my questions, of course...I'm just curious! :)

I'd like to share a link with you to the "Getting Started" guide, which will help you with networking here at World Pulse: http://worldpulse.com/pulsewire/about/guide

Please always feel free to add to your journal and comment on others' posts as well. We welcome your voice and contribution!

Kind regards, Susan

Hi Susan,

Thank you very much for your warm greet. By the way, I also like Rumi. I've been living in Indonesia for my whole life, but wishing to go out somewhere for fun. Thanks again for the link, I'll learnt it.

Hi Ulin, I'm glad you like Rumi too. I find his poetry sustains my faith in all that is good, and fills me with courage. I'm glad to have you here and look forward to learning more about you. Where would you like to travel to, if you could go anywhere?

It's hard to say where I would go. I like sticking close to home these days with my two young sons to raise, but someday I would like to go to the African continent--maybe Kenya or Uganda?

Hugs, Greengirl

I am serving as an ambassador to the 2015 Parliament of the World's Religions in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

The purpose of this event is to create harmony, not necessarily agreement, among the spiritual voices on our shared earth.

I would very much like to bring the harmony of World Pulse voices with me. I am planning a One Billion Rising event http://www.onebillionrising.org/ in conjunction with the Women's Initiative on the first day of the parliament. Please look at the attached links and let me know if you'd like to add your voice.

Continue being a blessing in our shared universe.
