Introducing myself and my journal: Arise and Shine

About Me:
I am a community health worker. My work involves identifying people and especially women and children in need of medicare, providing home based care services to them and where necessary, do referrals. I deal with community health and therefore love to see people in good health. Promoting access to quality health by women and children is my passion. I have seen many women and children affected by the HIV/AIDS scourge. I make sure that I do the best to improve the lives of these people. Men are not excluded but I put more emphasis on women and children and more so because they are viewed as the weak by the society.

My Passions:
Learning new ideas, Put the ideas learnt into practice

My Challenges:
Lack of appreciation for services offered

My Vision for the Future:
A world where women will not be viewed as lesser beings especially in Africa

My Areas of Expertise:
Community health
