TO MY DEAREST MENTOR

Dear Natalie

I am Warona Maifala.I live here in Botswana in a small mining town. I am so excited this morning to be writing this letter to a mentor like you. I read through that letter you wrote to me, I was like wow!!!!!! A m so thrilled my heart bubbles with so much Joy. Natalie to tell you the truth i am one of the disadvantaged people, I did well at school but furthering my studies was always a problem. All I was receiving was regrets. I pursued a course in Accounting and business studies at the University of Botswana, but at the end of the progamme since I had one subject to retake they now told me the course has been discontinued. This meant I could no longer write it. So these things soured my heart. All I can say today Natalie is that I embark on you, you are my shoulder, you are my hope, you are my furnisher, how I lay my life in world pulse being led by you, I give it all to you. You are everything to me, I love you.

However, I might fail to express myself but its an honor to have you by my side. It’s my desire that even at the end of this programme I can still go back to my wonderful mentor to out cry my weakness and encounters. I am a mother of one daughter, living with three orphans. I am one kind of a woman who would like to see my community changed, the HIV/AIDS, POVERTY is at peak, alcohol taking and our youth are the target for older men who work for the mine. When you see three people walking in front of you out of them two are likely to be hiv positive if not all of them. You can imagine how men lures ladies into dirty games now how about our youth, the next generation to be. As infected as they are they will still want to take their grudges into these innocent beautiful girls, infecting them, introducing them to beer drinking corrupting good morals. It’s my cry to see Selibe – phikwe changed. I believe there is method of overcoming every obstacle. Our government is not ignorant of this, but the people are stiff necked. But I know there is a way out. With you, life is made easy for me, I thank God for the person who made us to meet.

I really look forward to working with you. Oh, thank you Natalie, May God help me to be submitted to your help and also help you meet all my needs. I hope this will be an awesome enjoyable journey. Thank very much.God bless you.

With all my love for you

Yours sincerely

Warona
