What We Women Need to Know

The most powerful force within humanity on earth is the womb. Men have known this for centuries, and have been in awe of this power. They have been taught to fear that which brings them a sense of awe. What brings strong male animals fear, they are taught to destroy.

It is within feminine power to teach our men about ourselves. This is the only way to help them to help us protect ourselves when we are vulnerable, as we are when we are carrying our young, whether in our wombs or on our hips. Our responsible commitment to them is also the way that we get them to nurture, rather than destroy, the young that bring us so much pain and so much fulfillment.

Many want to continue an earth that is governed by animal rules; alpha members seeking to destroy all that they can't make submissive. This is not consistent with the ability of humans to form responsibly compassionate communities of intention. In the highest form of human community there are rules, roles, and respect for the strengths and weaknesses of each member. These are not dictated by a supreme being or a supreme council; they are agreed upon by a cooperative community. All are encouraged to take turns leading in a council of "elders" and those who accept and acclimate to the rapid cycles of change. Even the very young are asked for input of their views and visions. This keeps community progressive.

If we all go back and look into each others' three-year-old eyes, we can refashion a world where all is pure and full of promise. The rest of life is simply building competence and confidence, instead of building bravado.

My man is feared by most, but when I responsibly respect and celebrate while I protect the three-year-old boy inside of the man, all in his aura simply feel protected, as they are a part of our team. It is incumbent upon me to measure all my desires against the good of the team in order that I not demand more than my share for myself or my own young. This is the greatest strength of the couples in community, the synergy created by truly mature responsible, compassionate commitment to each other and others.

This kind of commitment to community, whether through males or females in creative couples, has the power to save our species and our earth.
