Prayer

I have always been impatient with the concept of passive prayer. When one says, "I pray that..." there is an assumption of action. The action may be either denial of the request or action to fulfill the request.

I pray that each of my World Pulse sisters and brothers will strongly voice what is happening in their individual communities. This calls for action.

It takes great courage to report what we see and what is told to us by first person witnesses. Witnessing where our own integrity stands behind each story we tell is amazing to others.

I was not always able to fully witness for what I saw while I had others dependent upon me. I am now freed from the restraints of responsibility for children and/or grandchildren who bear my same name. I will not be silenced by those who wish to live in fantasies of what would make them feel secure.

I will speak out about what I see in front of my own eyes. I will also share any information I find about how to empower the most efforts of creating a just universe.

My prayer is that many of my World Pulse citizen journalists will allow me to help empower them in their efforts.

Continue to be blessings upon our shared universe.
