Gender based discrimination is the most tolerated voilation of human rights on earth today!
Gender equality isn't a woman's issue, it's an human issue. It does affects us all. Gender based voilence anywhere is threat to peace & security everywhere in different phases as education, health, economic or domestic.
Its not enough just to treat women well. We have to make sure All men treat women well. It's time that we all see gender as a spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideas.
WE SHOULD STOP DEFINING EACH OTHER FOR WHAT WE ARE NOT, AND START DEFINING OURSELVES BY WHO WE ARE.
We are put on this earth to achieve greatest self, to live out our purpose, and to do it courageously. The real problem that we fail, is the way that power is given out in our society pits us against each other.
For jobless to lack of education and professional skills to sexual and gender based voilence. Women face a multi-faceted oppression.
We should demand the independence of woman ; her right to support herself ; To Love whomsoever she pleases, or as many as she pleases.
We should demand Freedom of both sexes, Freedom of action, Freedom of love and Freedom of Motherhood.
I RAISE UP MY VOICE - NOT SO, I COULD SHOUT, BUT SO THOSE WITHOUT A VOICE CAN BE HEARD. WE CANNOT SUCCEED WHEN HALF OF US ARE HELD BACK.
Together we can help both men and women stand up for their rights and support them to bring the best version for themselves for tomorrow.
