MANDELA!!!, La mémoire saluée

MANDELA !!!

Ton engagement hostile au régime raciste ;
Pour ressembler tes compatriotes ;
Pour garantir la libre expression aux muselés ;
Pour assurer le plein mouvement aux relégués ;
Afin que soit écartée la schizophrénie.
Tu as acharnement lutté pour l’égalité,
Pour une justice distributive ;
Pour une participation paritaire ;
Pour rapprocher les castes ;
Afin que soit éradiquée l’exclusion.
Tu as vaillamment conquis l’indépendance,
Pour que l’Afrique édicte ses lois et applique ses règles ;
Pour que l’Afrique s’assume ;
Afin que sa dignité sa soit effective.
Tu t’es résolument préoccupé de la démocratie ;
Pour que les trois pouvoirs opèrent séparément ;
Pour que les droits humains soient respectés ;
Afin que soit bâtie la nation.
Tu t’es décidément soucié du patriotisme
Pour que naisse la conscience nationale ;
Pour le respect du patrimoine commun ;
Pour que s’écroulent les antivaleurs ;
Pour que les ennemis d’hier se parlent ;
Pour que les coupables se repentent ;
Pour que le droit soit dit ;
Afin que triomphe la cohésion sociale.
Tu as personnellement opté pour l’abnégation,
Pour côtoyer les faibles et apprivoiser les forts ;
Pour que survive l’indigent ;
Afin que tous jouissent des mêmes chances ;
Pour une Afrique toujours productrice ;
Pour qu’elle soit compétitive sur le marché ;

Mandela!!! The Memory Hailed

Born under apartheid in South Africa
Your hostile engagement with the racist regime;
Made of you a worldwide legacy without equal.
You tirelessly fought for freedom,
To look like your compatriots;
To guarantee freedom of expression to the muzzled;
To ensure full movement to the relegated;
So that the schizophrenia might be eliminated.
You fought hard for equality’
For distributive justice;
For joint participation;
To bring together the social groups
So that exclusion might be eradicated.
You valiantly conquered independence
So that Africa enacts its laws and applies its rules;
So that Africa shows off;
In order that its dignity may be real.
You resolutely were concerned about democracy;
So that the three powers would operate separately;
So that the majority and the opposition could live together,
So that human rights would be respected
In order that the nation might be built.
You were decidedly concerned about patriotism
So that a national consciousness would be born;
For the respect of common heritage;
So that anti-values would crumble;
In order for the country to survive.
You were firmly engaged on the path to reconciliation,
So that the enemies of yesterday would speak to each other;
So that the guilty would repent;
So that the right would be said;
In order for the triumph of social cohesion.
You personally chose abnegation,
To brush against the week and to tame the strong;
So that the indigent would survive;
In order for everybody to enjoy the same opportunities;
You fiercely opposed poverty,
For an Africa always productive;
So that it would be competitive in the market;
In order for the cleavage between haves and have-nots to cease.
Let your example inspire us
In order for Africa to flourish.
