At The AWID Conference.

As I landed into Istanbul late that Tuesday afternoon, I forgot how tired I was supposed to be! It had been a long journey, flying five hours to Doha, Qattar. I arrived at 11.00 PM. not to leave upto 9 on the next morning. Flew another 5 hours and arrived at 2.00 PM. The story then starts!

There are more than 2 000 women from all over the world, and a handful of (previleged) men! These women are from the world over, and beauty shows, in their dressing, faces, presentations, enthusiasusm, passion, and love. All the women chit chat. Everybody has something to tell, something to share, something to give, and to recieve!

I meet all friends, old and new! Here comes the list: I am also tempted to talk about my session first, because of the overwhelming support that I get there! There is Eileen Fisher herself! I feel so honored I want to cry. I want to cry more because she personally comes to my session! It is housefull, but I am full of support! There are also Antoinette and Reisa Braffman all from Eileen Fisher. Jackie Stein is there, and so is Felisters! The house is full of wonderful women, world changers!

The internet is an issue, but Jackie is quick to transfer my presentation into a memory stick, so disappointment doesnt happen here. I am excited to see how much interest women have in the power of connection, in having to speak for themselves and let no one speak for them! It is my turn to tell the world, and here is the beginning.

I am here to share the happenings that are at AWID, they are numerous, but I have a big chunk to share out!
