About Me: I'm Kat, living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of America. I ran away from Texas as an 19 yr old - ran from the fundamentalist evangelical Christian cultism of my entire area and to the diverse, free thinking state of Oregon. I ran from the humidity, the concrete and malls, the woods and creeks you can't enjoy for all the snakes, nasty bugs and sweltering heat. Now, I'm 31 years old, and traumatized by a dramatic deconversion from Christianity that led to a tragic separation in my family. My religious family members forcibly separated my son and I because I had become an atheist and asked my husband for a thoughtful, slow, peaceful, loving, collaborative divorce.
