After presenting a concept of how technology could affect rapid construction of sustainable shelter to a supportive team of respected scientist at the University of Akron Polymer Science Engineering School my life took a turn that aligned me with the many others working towards providing systems addressing the basic needs of those most in need.
I am humbled and inspired by the actions, fears and doubts of others, and their brave push forward, They, like myself are concerned and taking action to address these issues on local and international levels. I had a chance encounter with Ms Zainab on the beaches of Costa Rica and her focus, passion and intelligence were instantly evident and comforting as well as inspiring. Like the millions of women that raise our children each day...
She walks her talk and in her footsteps are the mended lives of generations yet to be born.
