Introducing myself and my journal: Mr. Speak for her

About Me:
I am Lucas De Gumwell from South Sudan, a radio reporter, two years old in the field but enjoying every moment. Part of my activities include producing special reports on women activities, advocating for an end to early and forced marriages so rampant in my society, Girl-child education and domestic violence.
Last year I worked on a radio program called \"Listen to me\", that gives women a chance to speak out about their lives.Their experiences of the Sudan civil war, and the new hopes after the Independence of South Sudan.
I also talk to women who are struggling in my community to better their lives, and this week that marks World Women's day I will speak to a successful businesswoman.

My Passions:
Seeing justice done daily, talking to people about themselves

My Challenges:
Lack of capacity building to strengthen my career, transport and misunderstandings sometimes from security personnel

My Vision for the Future:
Become a journalist that must transform my society where there is equality and freedom of expression especially for the currently margenalised women
