Introducing myself and my journal: Through My Lens

About Me:
Focusing my “lens” on Cherokee women’s issues allows me to not only explore my own lineage, but to inspire and incite tribal women to reach inside themselves to realize their strength, beauty and resilience. Writing and documentary film are the media I use. The Cherokee were originally a matriarchal society. That changed with European migration in the 1700s and early 1800s. My current work examines the return to the matriarchal tribal structure and the reasons and prophesies behind it. I am also committed to using my creative works to encourage women on this path of compassionate leadership.

My Passions:
Documentary Film

My Challenges:
Financial, My age

My Vision for the Future:

My Areas of Expertise:
