Introducing myself and my journal: We are all in this together

About Me:
I am a native New Yorker who believes that the world is my community. I love to travel , see new places and connect with people world wide. My most recent trip was to Germany and the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia). Going to Estonia meant so much to me, because that is where my father was born. I never thought that putting the pieces of my history would be so important to me, but I've come to learn that we can only move forward if we know from where we come. My travels, which have also included the Middle East, Egypt, India, Russia, Mexico, part of Central America and the Caribbean have taught me that we are all so much more alike than different ...I believe that there is strength in diversity and that if we all put our heads and hearts together that the world will be a better place for women, men and especially the children. We are all in this together.
