Mothers are suffering in our country, the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Mothers suffer a lot, especially here in our province, Sud-Kivu. The majority of mums do everything for their family. The mum leaves the house in the morning to go carry bundles around in the big markets trying to find something for her children to have to eat in order to live. Without the mother’s effort in trying to provide for her children, her children cannot grow. Therefore, the mums in Sud-Kidu seem like widows, when actually their husbands are alive. The husbands spend the whole day wandering around the inner city. We declare to the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo that our husbands could have an activity which could help the family. Congo, our country, is rich.
