Introducing myself and my journal: While There is Hope...

About Me:
I am one of perhaps few young tausug women who never stop believing that one day Sulu will be a better place to live in. The title that come into my mind as I was filling the part of the journal title is \" While there is HOpe\". I have to do something for my community while there is hope. I have to be involve and I have to let the world hear what i say and what is happening in my community while there is hope because if its too late there is no use for anything. Now i can still see hope in my place, a hope that never cease in me since i was a kid growing up here until now that im old enough to to do things that i wanted to for my community.
I am a 28 year old muslim filipino ( as tausug, we are considered minority in this christian dominated country). While my bachelors degree is in biology, im currently working and volunteering in our newly established NGO, i used to work as radio practitioner in a local radio station here but due to political accomodation, someone has to take my place. Well thats life is, if you are near the hole you are the first to get what you want. against all odd as i must say, i am working so hard to awaken my community to let them be community oriented and help build and rebuold sulu for future generation.
