Introducing myself and my journal: Empowering Vulnerable children and widows

About Me:
Am currently working with an organisation called Empower A Child Uganda. It is a community based out reach ministry.
Our mission is to bring confidence and sustainability to orphaned and vulnerable children of Africa by teaching them modern skills, giving them the opportunity of education and enlightening them through the word of God.

We go out to different projects like, schools, babies' home, a juvenile home, a home for once street kids, a hospital for disabled kids. We share with the young kids and show them that there is some one out there that cares about them.

Joining this organisation was a turning point in my life, I got to experience a lot and am so thankful to God. I learnt to appreciate myself in terms of background, my family, my friends and everything I have possessed in my life.
In the field it is heart breaking at times but it has helped me learn to face challenges and also how to deal with them.

In addition I have been able to learn a bit of some cultures through Volunteers from different parts of the world who come to Uganda through Empower A Child

I love seeing some one smile through my efforts.
I have a desire to travel to different parts of the world and help out in any way to change a life granted time, efforts and funds.

My big thanks go to the founder of pulse and all the members and I would love to be much more involved. Thanks for your time and consideration in reading this as I know there is a tremendous demand for your time.

We also have a tour company called View Africa and we take people on safari to different parts of East Africa.

Blessings.
