Introducing myself and my journal: Mi Vida + Mi Voz = Mi Verdad

About Me:
I am on a journey towards living into a more authentic and honest self. This journal will serve as one of the tools as I journey to this space of authenticity and honesty. I look forward to connecting with other women across the globe interested in examining self in order to better understand people, communities, nations, societies, etc. In my professional life, I work with college students to engage them in civic engagement and social justice practice, praxis and research. And finally, I am daughter, sister, partner and friend, but most importantly, I am mommy, simultaneously the most frustrating and rewarding role I'll play in this theatrical production called \"life.\"
