Introducing myself and my journal: Women in Action



About Me:
Have been part of Isis International for the past 14 years. Started off as a volunteer, employee and now Chair of the Board of Trustees.



Currently employed at Miriam College, a small private women's college where I am the Chair of the International Social Work Program. I teach such courses as Gender and Society, Media and Advocacy, Child and Youth Studies to name a few.



Have been living in Asia for the past 18 years. Originally from Mexico City, raised in Chicago, Illinois and of Puerto Rican family background. Consider myself a multi-cultural feminist.



My Passions:
learning, traveling, reading, food and love
