About Me: I am an art therapist and a visual artist that has had the good fortune to combine both of my careers. I've spent my professional career working with children and women who have experienced intimate violence. Together, we have created curriculum for elementary students who want to be proactive in reducing bullying in their lives, a touring exhibition, A Dress Speaks: Confronting Intimate Violence, that consist of sculptural dresses symbolically outlining the stories of eight women, and public art pieces that draw a comparison between plastic waste toxicity and teen dating violence.
