Why am I here?

Story
I am here because I have a voice that needs to be heard. My voice is powerful, bold, strong, amazing and best of all inspiring. There are countless of women and girls the world over, who would like to whisper their thoughts, agonies, discrimination, domestic violence, and many other vices meted against them, but are barred by their surroundings to do so, making them forever voiceless. I am here to give all the voiceless women and girls the loudest voice they ever heard, without fear, favor, and intimidation regardless of whatever barriers I encounter; the world must know!
I want to be a Correspondent because I come from a community where all manner of problems abound, and in spades, which I would like to highlight to the world, so that we can find the solutions necessary to end the cycle of poverty, domestic violence, rape, gender equality and equity, and also illiteracy, among other issues.
I believe that honest, strong, solution-based journalism will help my community to not only have its problems addressed, but also be put on the world map, which will help forge a network of trade, health, education, training, and enlightenment expertise, as part of the solutions.
I am counting on my sisters here, to join me as I amplify my voice, and they theirs, to make the world a better place for not only ourselves and communities, but for our future generations too.
