I Am a Leader

Here are some thoughts on Leadership. These have been what I have told myself over the years. I have no idea really, what makes one a leader. Many things do, from what I am learning here in WorldPulse. I am just glad that I am, and that along the way I am in such extraordinary good company.

Where you see a need, create a solution

When something new has to happen, figure out a way

When you see an opportunity, jump in

When something needs to be figured out, do some thinking

When you have a new idea, nourish it, finesse it, then trust it

When it hasn’t been heard, be the first to speak

When something needs to be said, gather your courage,

Write it, speak it out, broadcast it

Call friends together to discuss it

If you have no place to meet, make one happen

If you need to confer, call a meeting

If women are in danger, prioritize it

If changes need to be made, make them happen

When you’re told it is impossible, refuse to believe it

When you are discredited, trust yourself

When you’re tired, get some rest

When you’re in deep pain allow yourself to cry

And give yourself time in nature

When you feel alone, keep going and find others like you

And above all believe that you are here because

You have a gift to offer

You were born a leader.
