Introducing myself and my journal

I am and have been trying to help men to understand the value of respect for woman . There is a deep and seemingly hopeless ignorant mass of men with the view woman are some how inferior or less than men or worse something to control/own and use like a hat and discard . I am very fortunate to have had and have great role models who are woman . I watched as my Grandmother and Mother, how what they knew this vast and deep wisdom mostly viewed as useless because of there sex . I watched the violence they had to deal with when they tried to gain equity and a voice . This has formed in me a strong belief in all peoples right to be free of tyranny and violence and have worked on myself and my own prejudices and those of others on behalf of my role models like my Grandmother and all the Women and Men who formed me to honour them and benefit all as much as I can .
