I envision myself amongst other women that like me transgress the dominant culture to build upon our strengths and assets.
What if we started each day as a clean slate, forgetting 'who we are, what we have become and what we know ourselves to be'?
I’m writting this final assignment in a very special state of mind. I have had a very moving experience that I want to share. I have just returned home from our annual National Women’s Gathering.
I lost my corporate job in May due to discrimination of my sexual orientation. I embraced the blessing even though I did not know how I would support myself at first.
My personal vision is to be a successful career mother and wife who do not fail in her responsibilities at home and work.
I lost my father when I was 8. I remember he was an incredibly loving father who wanted to see me grow to be a strong and empowered woman.
