About The Position

The Leadership Offerings Associate supports the Leadership Offerings department. S/he helps with the organization, planning and implementation of our programmatic activities to achieve the organizational goals. The Leadership Offerings Associate ensures proper stewardship with our top community leaders.  Candidates should be passionate about World Pulse’s mission and impact, possess exemplary interpersonal and writing skills, outstanding attention to detail, eagerness to excel in all responsibilities listed below, and curiosity to grow his or her role at World Pulse to create greater organizational impact.


Key Responisibilities

  • Support the Leadership Offerings team with planning, coordination, and implementation of programs
  • Track organizational growth, impact, and connectivity metrics for the Leadership Offerings department
  • Respond promptly and professionally to Leadership Offering inquiries and requests
  • Monitor and update external representation of World Pulse Leadership Programs
  • Coordinate closely with marketing team to leverage opportunities and track marketing requests for the department
  • Support programmatic grant writing
  • Coordinate programmatic grant reporting
  • Collaborate with the technology team to champion Leadership Offerings technology proposals
  • Organize and manage Leadership Offerings digital assets
  • Support Leaders Offerings meetings
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for special events & travel
  • Represent and liaise for World Pulse in meetings, as needed
  • Manage Leadership Offerings volunteers as needed
  • Update database contacts and information
  • Cultivate relationships with people who are looking to support our top leaders

  • Tech-savvy and confident using and navigating online services and software and office IT. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel). Knowledge of Skype, Slack, Zoom, basic audio and video programs and more beneficial
  • Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent work experience (3 years minimum administrative experience) required
  • Non-profit work experience
  • Experience in program coordination and/or administration
  • A record of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality and cross-cultural responsiveness.
  • An ability to work flexible hours, if necessary
  • Experience living and/or working in other countries highly beneficial
  • Experience speaking multiple languages highly beneficial
  • Experience collaborating with women leaders working in resource constrained environments highly beneficial


Organizational And work Environment


  • Be active on World Pulse Online Community.
  • Participate in events and represent World Pulse.
  • Due to the global nature of the organization, team members must be available occasionally to conduct work outside of office hours with prior notice
  • Team members should embody the World Pulse Rules of Engagement, mission, vision, and brand, acting both internally and externally as a brand ambassador and fundraiser.

Benefits & Other Details

  • This is a part time position located at our Portland, Oregon headquarters.
  • Pay range $16-$18/hr depending on experience.
