Learning from Failure

Most of us are quick to broadcast our successes in life. But what about our failures? Behind every brilliant success story there is often an attempt or two that didn’t go quite as planned.

World Pulse is seeking stories about your best failures—those mistakes, missteps, or detours that ultimately led you to where you are today.

This is an opportunity to tell the parts of our stories that don’t always get their proper due, the parts that might be challenging or painful.

Failure can be a lonely experience, especially when it seems like those around us are accomplishing their goals with ease. Let’s be real with each other. Together, let's challenge false narratives of effortless achievement, and celebrate the failures that have allowed us to grow.

Your story could be related to your career, relationships, activism, or any other life pursuit. What did you learn from failure? How did you bounce back? And what can others learn from your story?

THIS CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS CLOSES ON 7 September, 2017 AT 11:59 PM PST.
