Send a Postcard to Daw Aung San Suu Kyi

Most of you already know that Thursday, June 19th is Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's birthday -- she turns 63! (And of course, World Pulse is sending out our Burma e-magazine on that day!)

I have had the pleasure of speaking with some incredible women activists for Burma over the last few days (including Edith Mirante who has added her valuable perspectives to this Burma Cafe...and just a couple of days ago, I spoke with Inge Sargent. Here's a link to some further information about Inge Sargent and her courageous life. (We've invited her to come join us on the Burma Cafe as well!) Read more about Inge at:
http://myhero.com/myhero/hero.asp?hero=Inge_Sargent

Inge asks that we send a postcard/birthday wishes to Daw Aung San Suu Kyi (DASSK) at the below address:
56 University Avenue
Yangoon Myanmar

She says that while DASSK "probably wont get it, people will be most annoyed." She asks that we write for "we must keep Burma in the news, and must ask about it."

Please forward this on to your friends and also invite them to the Burma Cafe!
