Burma holiday gifts
Holiday gifts that benefit the people of Burma can be found at:

They are at the Hunger Site & Rainforest Site under "fair trade." Included are women's group weaving crafts, a doll project for indigenous refugee children, and sponsorship of clinic days and childbirth kits. Something for everybody on your list, I think. I personally know the organizations involved in the project and am happy to see them featured in these very easy & affordable ways to help.

BURMA REFUGEES- PROJECTS/STUDY
Dear Ms.Mirante,
Sorry, this is the only way I could find to contact you!
Do you know of any universities with a reputable anthropology department, which would specialize in the region of SouthEast Asia? I did my BA at Sheffield/ Frankfurt and am now looking to go further afield to do an MA Anthropology and Development. I'm particularly interested in the Burmese refugees in Thailand, in Burma's many tribes, and the human rights/ dignity issues affecting these people. I have been reading extracts of the "Burmese Looking Glass" and I'm enthralled to discover you highlight many a topic which inspires me too!
I thank you very much for your time, and any help you can provide in these matters,
Kindest regards,
Joanna Lowe
