Burma holiday gifts
Holiday gifts that benefit the people of Burma can be found at:

They are at the Hunger Site & Rainforest Site under "fair trade." Included are women's group weaving crafts, a doll project for indigenous refugee children, and sponsorship of clinic days and childbirth kits. Something for everybody on your list, I think. I personally know the organizations involved in the project and am happy to see them featured in these very easy & affordable ways to help.

Giving
Thanks Edith for these great holiday giving ideas. So many of these gifts involve training and health care services that provide for the future, far beyond this December. I'll spread the word!
Warm holiday wishes,

Holiday giving
Edith,
Thank you for this link, and for reminding us of what the holiday season should be about. I especially like the opportunity this affords to enable giving such meaningful gifts as midwife training, supplying a Burmese village clinic for a day, treating malaria patients, etc. What a wonderful idea for holiday gifts.
Warm regards,
Jade
