interested in meeting group members

I would love to learn about some projects that various group members are involved in and how I might tag along.

Hi Genice --

You might be interested in the group I'm a part of -- Dining For Women (www.diningforwomen.org). There are chapters in the Bay Area. The concept is a monthly potluck dinner where women take the money they would have spent going out to dinner, and donate it to the nonprofit that is being supported that month. There are about 130 chapters throughout the States, and we raise about $15,000 per month. We sponsor small, grassroots organizations specifically helping women in the third world. Education is a large component of our meetings. Please take a look at the DFW website, and look for a chapter near you.

I'd be interested to know whether this appeals to you!

All the best --
Patricia
