I recieved my letter! Anyone else?!

Yesterday I received a simple handwritten note from my Rafiki Anna. Though it be short and sweet on lined notebook paper, it was the best mail I have received in months! She welcomed me to be her friend. I gladly accepted.

I will write her back tonight, knowing that slowly but surely, note by note, we will share our experiences and lives with each other.

Has anyone else heard from their Rafiki yet?

Hurrah!

Glad To Know

Am glad to know that The first Rafiki member has received her letter. Thank you Elsie for letting us know. I share in your joy. slowly by slowly your Rafiki will improve and before you know it you will be reading long letters as well.
The Good thing with this, is that you will monitor how she progresses. in replying your letter may be you can ask her questions so that she can find motivation to write more by answering your questions.

My letter has arrived!

I received my letter yesterday from my Rafiki Club member. Mnongeli has a much better command of the English language than I expected would be the case. It will be great to communicate with her and watch her English improve even more -- and perhaps I will even learn a few words from her! Very exciting!

Oops! Sorry, her name is Mwongeli.
