Need: I lost my job!
Hello ladies,
Hope this finds you well. I thought i should share this with you, because you never know... I lost my job last month! I was working as a research assistant with a Think tank called Inter Region Economic Network (IREN-Kenya) but unfortunately, i was among those employees who were laid off because IREN was undergoing operational difficulties.
I am currently job hunting and i thought i should post this, because i realize that it is through connections and networks that people survive. I am a graduate from the University of Nairobi in Communications and Literature majors. I am especially skilled in writing, research, public relations, customer care services and any other communication related fields.
I have here by attached my resume, just in case you want to browse more about me. Please, check it out, circulate or help where necessary.
God bless you all!
Joanne Wanjala.

The Agony of Losing a Precious Job
Dear Joanne,
I just wanted to share some solidarity with you, as I know what it's like to lose a job suddenly. I do not want to get into the details, but I had a similar experience in August last year. I had been working at a radio station that shut down; more than 23 persons were suddenly laid off in one day and until this day, we are still not completely over it.
It's a difficult experience, and I just wanted to let you know that I feel with you! I just want to send some positive thoughts your way and let you know that for every end there is a new beginning.
Hope you will feel better soon and find ways to make ends meet until you find another job that fulfills your passion.
With best regards,
Arda
Sorry Joanne
