Need: KET WANGI WIDOWS AND ORPHANS WOMEN SELF HELP PROJECT

KET WANGI WIDOWS AND ORPHANS ORGANIZATION WORKS UNDER THE GOVERNANCE OF THE MEMBER COMMUNITY DESIGNATED AS A REHABILITATION AND CARE UNIT TOWARDS TOTAL HUMANITY CARE WITH FOCUS TO THE ORPHANED AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN FROM KAJULU KISUMU RURAL DISTRICT IN NYANZA KENYA.THIS GROUP HAS HAS FOURTY REGISTERED MEMBERS WHO ARE WIDOWS.THIS CENTRE HAS BEEN IN OPERATION SINCE THE YEAR 2009.THE NEED OF THIS PROJECT WAS REALIZED IN THE YEAR 2008,WITH THE EFFECT OF POST VIOLENCE ELECTION IN KENYA.SO MANY CHILDREN WERE LEFT ORPHANS AND DUE TO NO CARE AND SUPPORT SOME WENT TO THE STREETS.WE AS WIDOWS THOUGHT TO DO SOMETHING,WE COLLECTED OURSELVES AND REGISTERED A GROUP TO HELP THESE CHILDREN.
WE STARTED BY HIRING LAND AND GROWING SUGER CANE ,THEN SELL THEM AS SEEDLINGS TO FARMERS,THE FIRST MONEY WE GOT ENABLED US TO START ON THIS PROJECT.TODATE WE CONTINUE WITH THE SUGER CANE SEEDLINGS AS OUR MAIN INCOME,BEE KEEPING,POULTRY,AND FISH SELLING AT THE KISUMU LAKE VICTORIA BEACH TO SUSTAIN THIS PROJECT.DUE TO INCREASING NUMBER OF THE ORPHANED AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN WE ARE ASKING FOR WELL WISHERS TO DONATE TO OUR TWO PROJECTS ,KET WANGI LEARNING CENTRE AND KET WANGI ORPHANGE.LET US HELP THESE DESTITUTE CHILDREN.BEST REGARDS FROM KET WANGI WIDOWS AND ORPHANS WOMEN GROUP.
