About Me:

I am a born again 30 year old lady, married with two children. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Political Science and Sociology. I'm a very outgoing, social person but at the same very careful with the people i deal with. I love to mentor people and bring out the best in them. I'm an Administrative Assistant by profession and also a womens/Sisters leader with a Christian based organization.

I am also an entrepreneur, running a company with my husband that empowers young people economically in the rural areas of Kisumu, Kakamega, Mumias and Busia (Kenya). We also train the youth with business skills to enable them establish their own businesses. Our main target has been the bicycle taxi operators.

I am so saddened by the recent statistics on HIV prevalence among youth in Kenya and my vision is to see the young people and especially girls fully aware of the risks, to help them understand that they can stand by themselves and excel. They don't need to sell their bodies or have married men around them for them to be somebody, i want to be a mentor to these girls, to show the way and help them through the problems they face. We're going out to schools, speaking the word and believe our the message will be heard and a life will be changed!

My Passions:
Mentoring, bringing out the best in others, especially girls inorder to see them avoid the pitfalls of early pregnancies, HIV/AIDS due to peer pressure!
My Challenges:
Making people understand who they really are, and that they don't need to depend on anyone to be who they want to be! How to begin the movement & financing it!
My Vision for the Future:
To see women and girls stand out, having opportunities to excel and most of all to see a generation of youth who are responsible and empowered! A world where everybody's rights are respected!
My Areas of Expertise:
Administration, leadership!
My Languages:
English, Kiswahili
