Lisa Hinton

About Me:

Hi! My name's Lisa and I live in Portland, Oregon in the damp, green, northwestern United States. I have a voracious appetite for juicy nonfiction and the loud clamoring of punk rock. I'm also deeply interested in issues of urban/suburban development, micro finance, community media, and affordable housing.

I love connecting with folks around the world and learning from their successes, struggles, histories, and visions for the future. I think our experiences are one of the world's greatest resources and I am thrilled to read the accumulation of women's voices and knowledge here on PulseWire.

My Passions:
creating sustainable communities, bridging global feminisms and local feminisms, social media, music, cross-border connections, traveling
My Challenges:
being patient and staying organized
My Vision for the Future:
a future with more sharing: sharing skills, sharing information, sharing stories, sharing hopes and fears ... and sharing solutions!
My Languages:
English, some spanish
