Tina Garforth

About Me:

I am a British artist and writer, originally from Yorkshire England and currently based in the Bronx, New York. Since becoming a Voice of Our Future Correspondent for World Pulse, my writing centers on themes of conflict resolution, immigration, cultural identity and Women's Empowerment. I also work as a development and communications consultant for Mothers Acting Up, a not for profit organization working to inspire mothers to act up on behalf of the world's children. As a mother of two young boys, I find myself daily inspired to work towards building a safer, saner world for them and all their future neighbors around the world.

My Challenges:
Learning to become public with my voice and my opinions.
My Vision for the Future:
A safe and secure place in the world for each of our children to thrive in. Acceptance and respect for each others difference among nations. A celebration of and reconnection to our rich and diverse cultural heritages.
