I wish to open this quarter's newsletter by extending my arms wide in a digital hug to all who engaged in our Path to Participation Initiative! It has been a truly exciting four weeks which, with the close of the initiative juston Thursday, was flooded with submissions from womenaround the worldspeaking out about Education, Health, and Gender-based Violence, to help us all chartthe #PathThere to women's full and equal participation worldwide.
As you will see below, we have reached so many milestones like this one in these first few months of 2015, both as an organization and as a global network of change-makers. Our story is your story, and whether we are connecting to help each other feel heard, or providing resources to advance each other's visions and work, we are changing the world together. Thank you for being a part of this worldwide digital revolution!

Join Us on The #PathThere!
Last month, World Pulse teamed up with No Ceilings: The Full Participation Project—an initiative of the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation—for our first major initiative in 2015 to crowdsource the voices and expertise of our community. Our joint Path to Participation Initiative surfaced personal stories and local solutions from the World Pulse Online Community, all in response to the nearly 1 million data points on the status of women, girls, and gender equality presented byNo Ceilings. The initiative just closed this week, with our community submitting many incredible stories tohelp chart the #PathThere and seek solutions to today's biggest challenges!Read the submissions here.
Community Champion Badge
When welaunched our upgraded platform in January, we also launched a brand new leadership role: Community Champions. These women are community leaders who model World Pulse’s core values and help create a thriving, interactive network. Within their World Pulse Groups, Community Championsshareresources, spotlight innovative solutions, and encourage connections between members, all to create a safe and meaningful environment for discussionand building movements. Collectively, these womenbring rich life experience, facilitation skills, strong voices and listening ears, passion and expertise in their topic areas, and a burning desire to learn and share new things with women around the world. These Community Champions have been leadingdiscussion and action in our network around two important topics: Economic Empowerment and Leadership.Read about our first Community Championshere.
We continually strive to be an organization whose community leads us in the development of new programs and services. ThisMarch, we piloted an exciting new Online Mobilization Workshop Series with a small cohort of Voices of Our Future training graduates and our newest Community Champions. The creation of this training wasa direct result from last year's community survey, as well asthemany requests we have received directly from community members to expand our training. The series comprised of Building and Creating Content, Facilitating Online Discussions (and how they lead to offline facilitation), and Resources: internal-to-self and network resources utilization (resource asset mapping).
