Abby is a filmmaker, thought leader, advocate and strategist with over a decade of experience building and leading human rights organizations, including the Global Justice Center, Digital Democracy, and the New Media Advocacy Project (N-Map). Abby works in partnership with governments, business leaders, artists, NGOs and grassroots advocates to solve the world’s most pressing problems using a diverse arsenal of advocacy tools including technology and video. She currently works as a Senior Advisor at the Goldin Institute and Founder and President of Variant Strategies.
Abby is passionate about justice. Among the projects she's most proud of are an immigrant defense campaign (www.wehaverights.us) & a film she made as part of a legal case against the UN for bringing Cholera to Haiti: http://www.ijdh.org/2012/04/topics/health/fight-the-outbreak-video-chole.... She is particularly passionate about women's equality and U.S. Foreign Policy.
