The world health organisation sees wellness as “...a state of complete physical, mental, and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
It is important to note that wellness matters a lot in order to live a higher quality life, because emotions and everything we do relate to our well-being. It is advisable to ensure optimal wellness in order to overcome stress and illness.
There are different dimensions of wellness such as, emotional wellness, environmental wellness, financial wellness, intellectual wellness, occupational wellness, social wellness, spiritual wellness and physical wellness.
