My Inspiration

I know that some day I will die and after that, I may only continue to exist in the memories of those who knew me or knew of me. I feel that, if I do my job as human well I can earn a guaranteed after life. If the purpose of my life is fulfilled, I will continue to live (without killing) and inspire other people for as long as the human race exists.

Hi Acroghana,
So true that our lives don't go on forever, but we can live on by what memories others may have of us, and perhaps some ideas we gave out along the way that continue in those we meet with along the way, and build ideas with.

Hello Acroghana,
I'm reading this and it struck me that what we write here, including your apt observation about mortality, will outlive us. People will read our stories and get a glimpse into our world! As you say, let's keep the inspiration flowing :)

Hello, Acroghana,

How are you doing? What thoughts or circumstances took place recently that made you reflect about death and dying? I can identify with that. The works we do, the impact we have on people will immortalize us.

My uncle died recently. Words about his good deeds were shared to us. I reflected how ironic it is that a person needs to die before he/she will be appreciated or celebrated. We all get focused on the our personal circumstances that someone's death suddenly make us reflect about living and dying. You are right, when we die, only memories about us exist, and people will pay more attention to how we lived. That's the story of poets, painters, artists, and other unsung heroes. Their lives were celebrated after their death. How ironic, is it?

"What thoughts or circumstances took place recently that made you reflect about death and dying?"
Nothing came to me. I even sometimes lye in Bed, put my hands on my sides to imagine how I could be laid in state, crazy!
I reflect and do that to keep me on to do the right things as much as possible. When I am aware that, I will die one day, I am humbled, have empathy towards others and above all share my love with others who matters cares. We are short lived here and we could share before we die, it would be easier for all of us to enjoy life so long as we live. Thanks again for your motivation.
