WHAT IF FEAR IS ALL IN OUR HEAD, WHAT IF IT IS A TOOL STOP US FROM ALL WE ALWAYS WANTED???

ALL FEAR HAS A NEGATIVE REWARD EXCEPT ONE AND IT IS NOT OUTRIGHTLY STATED

I was on my way to the pharmacy with a friend of mine, we had a long, nice walk. While walking, he asked questions trying to determine what I was allergic to that made me sick but then I couldn’t say anything in particular, everything was going on well, I even started laughing out loud until we got to the highway where we had to cross, then the trouble started.

He held my hands as a friend and a big brother should, my heart was racing, in few seconds I have had a flash back of all the incidents I had being involved in and the pain I had gone through, the scars from the bruises are still scattered all over my legs, my knee my elbow, the scars in my heart from the pain I have endured,

“LET'S GO” My Friend said, I looked up, not prepared at all to walk through the road every moving vehicle seemed to be moving just too fast for my liking, at that point so many ugly scenes were already playing out in my head then I started screaming.

“I AM NOT CROSSING, I DON’T WANT TO CROSS,

 LEAVE ME ALONE!!!”

Standing firm and pulling my hand out of his with all the energy I have got in me at the time, luckily, my friend stopped and looked back seeing the terror in my face and hearing the terror in my voice he turned and said "you are DROMOPHOBIC and AGYROPHOBIC" which means the Fear of Crossing the Roads and Streets with moving vehicles......

IT IS CALLED PHOBIA AND THERE IS A LONG LIST OF THEM

Ablutophobia: Fear of bathing.

Achluophobia: Fear of darkness.

Acrophobia: Fear of heights.

Aerophobia: Fear of flying.

Algophobia: Fear of pain.

Agoraphobia: Fear of open spaces or crowds.

Aichmophobia: Fear of needles or pointed objects.

Androphobia: Fear of men.

Anemophobia: Fear of air.

To mention a few,

In the face of all these fears that can consume us and hold us back, there is one fear that stands apart - THE FEAR OF GOD as stated in the book of Proverbs 9:10

Unlike the fears that haunt us, this fear doesn't lead to negative outcomes.

Instead, it inspires reverence, humility, and a moral compass. It reminds us of our humanity and our need for guidance beyond ourselves.

While I may not have conquered all my personal fears, I have come to realize that the fear of God is the one positive fear that can guide us towards a better path.

It's a fear that doesn't paralyze but empowers, it doesn't diminish but uplifts.

So, as we navigate the maze of phobias in our lives, let's remember that the fear of God is the beacon of positivity we can hold onto.
