let help each other

Posted March 21, 2020 from Cameroon

I am Adele Nana a Cameroonian living in Sweden. i am from the western region of the country and i have always been preoccupied with the issue of widowhood as an abuse of women rights. Right now am working on being how to assist street women in Cameroon,( that is their reinsetion inte to the society).  I got this idea while working with street children in the country during my internship. I realised they are a lot of street women with kids managing to survive in the country.

I am very grateful to be part of the group and to read and share stories with other women around the globe.

Hi Adele,

Welcome to World Pulse, and the Encourager group, too:-) Thanks for sharing your first post and a little bit about what you're passionate about. When you say "street women," do you mean homeless or IDPS, or something else? I'm eager to hear more about what your goals and mission are.

Hope you're safe and well.

HI jill,
thanks for you reaction. i mean street women ( and these street women have giving birth to kids on the street after being raped. they do not know the fathers of their children. I am new in the group.
my goal is a fair and sustainable world free from poverty, women and children, illiteracy and illegal migration. To make it happen, more people need to be engaged and take a stand for a fair world.
create relationships with homeless women and their
children. Relationship creation takes place through various activities in the yard. We know that each individual has the ability and capacity to achieve goals. We have the prerequisites to motivate each individual homeless women and their children to achieve goals based on his own ability. We know that together people find new ways out of poverty and become a strong voice in society. Therefore, we support people to merge and gain new knowledge.
I am at home and safe, thanks for asking and hope you are safe as well

Oh, I see. Okay. Great.

So, you're looking for collaborators, then, or you have some already? You can go on the World Pulse "community" page and look by country and interest, or let me know specifically what qualities or focus you are looking for, and I probably have some recommendations for you:-)

Hi Jill,
thanks for your consent. I am looking for people round the world no specific countries, they should be good councillors and motivators and who have worked with or have an idea of vulnerable group.
My idea is to start with a recreational center where these street women and their children spend some time.in this center we shall provide food, and some basic education with the intension to gain their trust.
so i need sponsor as well to get material.
anxiously waiting for your recommendations

Hi Adele,

You're welcome. So, you are looking for collaborators, mentors, or both?

It depends on where you live in Cameroon, but do you know Sally, Feka, Geraldine or Edith?

For sponsorship, you can post on the "Resources" page: https://www.worldpulse.com/my-pulse/resources

Dear Adele,
I feel your passion in this matter and to be a vehicle for change. You say that you need help to understand the roles and regulations of the house and I am not familiar with that, can you please explain what you mean by that. It is good that the written part is done though and I hope you find the partners and sponsors to help you with this great cause.
With love and gratitude,

Shirin

Hi Adele,
This is such important work. If we have not reached those who are having the hardest time, we are off course. It is shocking that this goes on in Sweden. It goes on in Canada too. These countries need to live up to their reputations. I am so glad you have found World Pulse. A big welcome!

Hi Tamarack,
Thanks for you comment. The situation i explained is in Cameroon not Sweden. I live in Sweden but was in Cameroon for some research work and its on the field i discovered this situation. What i am out for is for partners and sponsorship to start an NGO in Cameroon.
hope you are safe and take care.
i am so happy being here
