Elevator Pitch

Posted March 14, 2017 from Democratic Republic of the Congo

I am Adele Kibasumba and I co-founded Jimbere Fund.We work with Congo’s most remote communities to identify their most pressing needs and co-implement interventions tailored to the needs of each community.

Our recent project empowers women and girls through milling machines. Women spend about 20hours a week pounding maize with bare hands. This project will allow girls to stay in school, women to participate in local government and open up business opportunities.
