ACCOMPAGNEMENT PSYCHOSOCIAL

Merci pour vos conseils et encouragements. L’accompagnement des victimes de violence sexuelle est un travail continuel et holistique qui touche plusieurs domaines (social, économique, sanitaire…) et qui demande une collaboration avec les autres organisations nationales et internationales.
Nous commençons d’abord par des séances de counseling individuel : causerie qui vous rapproche dans une confiance et discrétion totale. Ensuite le counseling de groupe, la médiation familiale en cas de besoin, référence médicale. Quand nous avons terminé ces étapes, nous regroupons les volontaires de la communauté de cette base autour des travaux communautaires (agropastoral, artisanal) pour éviter la stigmatisation. Un comité de suivi et mis sur pied et des animateurs qui bénéficient des formations auprès des organisations locales et internationales comme ADIFE, RFDP, SPR, PAX CHRISTI, IRS, ICCO. Nos activités sont plus basées dans les milieux ruraux et quelques unes en ville de Bukavu. La question de savoir comment je parviens à accomplir ce travail avec ma lourde responsabilité familiale, c’est une vocation qui demande un véritable dévouement et surtout le consentement de la famille qui doit souffrir de mon absence pendant mes descentes sur terrain.

Thank you for your advices and encouragements. The guidance of the victims of violent sexual is a continual and holistic job which touches several fields (social, economic, medical…) and which requires collaboration with the other national and international organizations. We start initially with meetings of individual counseling; talk which brings you closer in a confidence and total discretion. Then, group counseling, family mediation, and where possible medical reference. When we finished these stages, we gather the volunteers of this community which may include pastors, artists and everyday citizens. This is done to avoid stigmatization of the sexual violence. A follow-up committee of the presenters which work closely with the local and international organizations such as ADIFE, RFDP, SPR, PAX CHRISTI, IRS, and ICCO is initiated.
Our activities are based in rural areas and some part of the city of Bukavu. The question of knowing how I manage to achieve this work with my heavy family responsibilities, it is a work which requires a true devotion and especially the assent of the family, which must suffer from my absence during my descents on the ground.
