Jumped into deep water...

Good Afternoon Everyone :)

When the Lockdown was starting to easy in the UK I returned to my job in the Hospitality Industry...

On my return I found the pressure on me emotionally, mentally and physically was so overwhelming I wasn't coping on a daily basis!

Even when I was off I was in bed sleeping because thats the only time I found peace and was happy. I had no support from my management and the change in the guest upon the reopening was utterly disgusting. So I took a HUGE plunge and decided to hand my notice in even though at this very difficult time I don't have a stable income coming in. My friend said I could move in with him with no pressure for rent until found my feet. So I done it I worked my notice and I was so proud on that last day I worked up until the end.

Now even though I havent found a job I have started up my own little business selling the most unique refreshing stunning skin care products you will ever know. Which sets my soul on fire which hasnt happened in a very very long time ! I've learnt life is too short to do things that suck the energy out of you ! Stand tall and proud ! Be the best you can because then you can support the people around you.

Hello!
Thank you for sharing your story! Covid has really taken an impact upon so many of us and it has been a large struggle. I think your story is very inspiring and it shows proof that no matter how hard times are, sometimes you need to take a risk and fight through it. Despite the hard times, you still found a way to make it through, and you're still fighting! I wish you the absolute best and I know that if you just keep moving forward, you will get very far in life. You seem like a very hard working, genuine person and I hope everything works out for you. :)

Dear Aggorringe1993
Congratulations on writing your first story and what a powerful message it bears. " Life is too short to do things that suck the energy out of it!" I know how difficult it is to leave your job with no guarantee of an alternative income solution. You are brave for listening to your body and following your hearts desire for peace.

Congratulations on the start of your business and Godspeed on your entrepreneur journey..

Please do write again.

Hello AGorringe,
Welcome to World Pulse and congratulations on your first post! Nothing speaks more peace, freedom, happiness,' in your element' better than that photo! It really captures why leaving your job in hospitality was the life-giving decision to make, and your sparkly non-stressed self looks a million miles away from the depressed, tired working-in-hospitality self that you describe.
Good on you for having the courage to take the leap into deep waters! Enjoy the swim, in slow, calming strokes, and stay sparkly :)

Hi Nina,

Thank you so much for your positive comment I really appreciate it!...

I was in a bad place far from where I am today, my new business has bought my passion back and golly I feel amazing. Which others care see too.

While working in the Hospitality industry it made you realise that some people forget, as my parents always taught me " Treat everyone as you want to be treat" Well most people had forgotten that saying for sure.

Thank you again and you take care keep that lovely smile !
