People love with like, tag, share and hate with delete, block, remove.

Have you heard of people getting hurt while trying to take a selfie? Have you heard of people getting instanly famous about something interesting or ridiculous they did? Have you heard about politicians getting resigned after posting some strong opinions in social media? Have you heard of couples getting divorced after commenting or liking somebody's else pictures in social media? Of course you have. Social Media has been part of everyday life for everyone of us.

Social Media has made a shift in the way people communicate today. Communication has been much more indirect that we use to know. People communicate much more with statuses, posts, pictures and others smart phrases. They just post, is not that they refer to you in person but it's just there for everyone to see. Seems that Big brother is watching you, the famous phrase from George Orwell book 1984, is a reality; we are definitely living in an "Orwellian world". You post and don't target anyone in person but the like minded who share the same opinion tend to polarise. People seek information who confirms their beliefs and ignore the contrary information. People tend to feel strong about their ideas even if their ideas are bankrupt, as if life itself is sterilised from any other ideas.

However web has a factorial potencial where everything is measurable. Be careful, it may not be representative but it's for sure measurable. Everyone is a philosopher in her/ his own way, everyone is beautiful and everyone is a photographer creating his/ his own virtual reality in social media. And this tendency won't stop like it or not. From now on in the cloud everyone loves with like, tag, share and hates with delete, block, remove.

Social Media has created a cloud of soo much information and a new vocabulary(tag, hashtag, selfie, sharenting, viral, emoticons) but it doesn't mean that have changed one iota the core of human relations. The core essence of human relationships remains the same, there is nothing more important than the love of your own people. So use the social media, use it wisely and be careful with the superfluous and recyclable information in the cloud.
