Working in the community has been my foremost interest since I started working out from home for during Nepal earthquake 2015. The long hours I spend outside made me realize the happiness I get from serving the community. I started my journey from Rotaract Club of Kathmandu, the youth wing of Rotary International Nepal and Bhutan District 3292. I worked as a coordinator for 15 medical camps during Nepal earthquake (2015). We had our projects in 8 districts of Nepal which was severely affected by the earthquake.
I have been working as Director for Humanitarian Affairs for Solidarity International. We distribute school bags and stationery materials to underprivileged students of Nepal. By 2030 we have a global agenda of providing school bags to more than 100,000 students. This project is also aimed at advocating the importance of education and attending school. I believe in that one smile that can start a friendship, one system that can change the fate of the whole country citizens.
Young people are real changemakers in communities. They can deal with grassroots level and connect to wide range of ideas and solutions,
I aspire to become a global changemaker so that I can improve the education system in my country, and inspire others for stable leadership.
